So we all know that Andrew Lloyd Webber is going to be a celebrity mentor at some point this season on Idol, which leads me to believe that it will be on Broadway night, because otherwise, what's the point of having ALW mentor at all?...and that got me to thinking, if they let them do contemporary Broadway stuff

Oh. OH. OH YES.

I don't know if they'd do musicals that are currently running (I know there are crazy licensing issues when you plan to do a production of a play, especially if it's running somewhere else in the world) but if they do, I think I'd die if he did that. Wow.

I had forgotten about licensing issues and things of that nature...if only this was a year later, there would be NO problem, since the show closes this summer...but we can cross our fingers, yes?!

And hey, as long as D'Archie doesn't do something like "Oh What A Circus" from Evita, I think I'll be a happy camper.

Nono, I bet bbDavid will do something from Les Mis because his father forced him got him to watch it when he was a kid...what's the name of Eponine's solo in that? Yeah, that song. If Ramiele doesn't fight him for it.

And a BIG *crosses fingers* for One Song Glory! And I wish it weren't closing this year; then if David's music career didn't take him to rock superstardom (which it so will but let's just pretend) I would love to see him as Roger.

Oh man... they did a showtunes night in Season 4 and it was such an underwhelming insult to the genre IMO. D: D: I really hope "Broadway" night will go over worlds better this year! DCook doing OSG would be a start! XD ♥
