Inspired by a conversation in americanidol
So we all know that Andrew Lloyd Webber is going to be a celebrity mentor at some point this season on Idol, which leads me to believe that it will be on Broadway night, because otherwise, what's the point of having ALW mentor at all?...and that got me to thinking, if they let them do contemporary Broadway stuff...
How perfect would David Cook be doing "One Song Glory" from RENT?! The song is almost TAILOR MADE for his range and his vocal style. It would quite possibly be the best thing ever!!!

ETA: I am not doing the Content Strike, because 1) I don't think it will do any good, as LJ's user stats are compiled weekly and not daily, and 2) I refuse to support something with any sort of kind of anti-Semitic under or overtone.
But since I've been more of a lurker as of late anyway, I probably won't post regardless.
