so, i've been working at p.j.'s in athens for a little over six months now. when they hire you, they make a point to tell you that "you don't work for the store, you work for the company," meaning that they can schedule you at any of the four stores in town. well, they take this liberty with me a lot, moving me every few weeks or so ( Read more... )

just got back from chucktown, that's charleston for you who are less cool than i. we played a good show, and got paid nicely. i really think i enjoy out-of-town shows more than athens shows. can't wait till next week. we are having a three-show minitour followed by a few days in the sav for my birthday. looking forward to lots of guilty gear.

so, i got demoted at work this week. apparently, i was having "issues" with my inventory counting. this came from the guy who, on the first night i closed, showed me how to make the computer calculate the inventory. he showed me how to cheat, and then i got in trouble for doing it. anyways, they didn't cut my pay, just my position. so i guess, ( Read more... )
