summer is impatient, so it seems, and will be leaving sooner than i anticipated. and with the summer go many of my ridiculous ambitions. so now i say, "so long, over-achieving alex." no longer will i worry about my summer reading, because it is no longer necessary for me.

i believe it's for the best.
