Your choices are excellent!

Jaime became my favourite male character after the third book. His POV is always so entertaining and hilarious, and I love his interactions with Brienne. His the ultimate troll (but with a heart). He basically made ASOS for me.

And Jon! ♥ I think he is an excellent coming of age hero. It's true he can be a bit whiny, but often I think he has the right to be.

The Red Wedding in S3 will slay me, I just know it ;__;

Jaime's POV chapters are made of win. BEST TROLL EVER. I can't wait for his scenes with Brienne, IT WILL BE AMAZING. I'm convinced the lack of Jaime is mainly responsible for ADWD being super boring.

I've come to like Jon's emo-ness tbh, Kit does it well, so now it just cracks me up.

IDEK if I can bear to watch the RW, reading it was horrible enough, but actually seeing it happen on screen T.T

ohh awesome choices!! (y)

The 3 of them are my favorites males too, but for me it's Jon first, then Jaime, and then Robb <333

IDEK how to justify the extent of my love for Jon Snow tbh--but like he and Sansa more or less OWN MY SOUL lol

Ngl I've never been completely adverse to Jon's whining (even in GoT), though I think it mainly may have been because (1) I could understand how, despite his relatively comfortable upbringing, growing up with the kind of stigma he had to endure may have inspired feelings of bitterness and exclusion, and (2) I don't think the readers/viewers are supposed to see the extent of Jon's wallowing as justified, particularly in comparison to the lives so many of his other Black Brothers have led (and I think Tyrion perfectly lays that out for him in 1x02 I think it was??)--so I like that we're sort of supposed to see it as a "flaw" because I don't think I would have stomached it otherwise despite my aforementioned ~understanding lol ( ... )

You're right and IA, that we're supposed to see the whining/feeling sorry for himself as Jon's flaw and a result of his upbringing, and that he more or less manages to overcome it over time, so I can respect him for managing that.
(Tyrion could us someone to open his eyes, like he himself did for Jon back then, right now tbh.)

"the toughest lot in all of Westeros"

LOL I can't believe people are seriously thinking that, Dany, or even Theon, maybe, but Jon. LOL NO.

I just love Robb & Jaime's character arcs, hopefully we'll get more scenes of them this season.
