Allo BBs! I am just checking in whilst watching some ice dancing in Lake Placid (like one does). It's been a fun week, despite tearing up my knee. I love being around/in nature/mountains, so it's been a pretty peaceful working vacation. And half day tomorrow, yay!

Hello, everybody! I am having a shit day (not really, nothing bad has actually happened, but you know the parts of Inside Out in which Sadness has to be dragged around by the ankle? That's what my body has decided to feel like today. And I have stuff to get done and I can't drag myself around by my own ankle).
In fandom-ish news, I have not written the fic that I have apparently been assigned to write, a ParksCon RPF Cold War AU titled The Woman From A.U.N.T. I have no idea why any of this is happening, nor do I know how to write a fic about it, nor do I even know what A.U.N.T. stands for.
I did, however, write another chapter of my superhero fic, which I have successfully conned clubgetright into reading even though it's long. And the fic gods came today and brought me something slightly bananas--even by the standards of this fic, which is kind of bananas--so chapter 6 might be happening fairly soon. Might be. Don't quote me on that. I did write down a few things, though. And now I will shut up about my fic since I know no one cares (whining

i'm looking after an insane guinea pig. i think the poor thing is having cabin fever after being stuck in his cage all day but he is scared of everything so when i attempted to pick him up, he kept jumping every way so i don't know how this is gonna work. he is adorable though.
my annoying boss is finally gone on leave for a whole month so i'm trying to chill and decided to work from home tomorrow so that's exciting
i made the best online purchase and i'm gonna wear this all day every day and never leave the house

The tour leader on our west coast trip had a unicorn onesie and he made people wear it if they were late getting back on the bus!
speaking of guinea pigs my sister had two when she was younger but one of them ran away, or thats what she was told anyway. I think he probably just had cabin fever as well.
Your tear leader sounds awesome tbh, it feels amazing to wear the onesie so I wouldn't mind being late!!
I had a hamster 5 years ago and he was OK but this dude is too huge to carry so I don't know how am I supposed to take it out of the cage. The owners said he loves cuddles but he doesn't seem to like me.
Yes wearing a onesie is great (I have one that is a red panda) but its not great having to wear it in extreme heat, it go to 116 at one point, it did make everyone very punctual. He must be huge if he is too big to carry.
