Wrath of the Titans: I saw three people fall asleep

I think I have pretty conclusively shown that I will watch almost anything. And that I have very low standards when it comes to films. Very, very low standards. Thus when I say a film is crap, I think you can believe that not only is it crap, but that it is crap on a hitherto unknown and unthought of level. Trust me on this: Wrath of the Titans ( Read more... )

OK, if I didn't know better I'd think that you and lage_nom_ai saw the movie at the same theater, because she hated it, too, and she fell asleep!

THIS IS THE ONLY POWER OF THIS MOVIE. ITS SOPORIFIC POWERS ARE SECOND TO NONE.

I love cheese, but this is not good cheese. This is the cheese that has been left out overnight, dissolved into a slightly wobbly mess, and begun to give off the fetid smell of despiar.

SIGH. I was planning to get a teensy bit drunk and see this, but it sounds like maybe it's below even my standards, yes? Before answering, take into account that I recently paid 99 cents for the privilege of reading a book called "Accidentally Married...to a Vampire?".

(I mean, I read it in order to mock it, but still.)

You know the way that John Carter of Mars was hilariously cheesy entertainment? This is the soulless reverse of that. No amount of alcohol - no amount of any substance - could make this anything but an agonizing experience that reaches new levels of boredom.

This is because this film is a soporific that should be available on prescription.

Ah, you and Lage_nom_ai watched this so I don't have to. Thank you! *veg*

Any movie that out-drecks the Hands of Manos is something to be feared.

At least Hands of Manos clearly only cost 50 pence to make! This one probably cost the annual GDP of a small country.

I would have thought Manos was made for free as a service to humanity. ;)
