Notre Dame de Paris is back!
Notre Dame de Paris is coming back to France with the original cast! That's right, Garou, Daniel, Bruno, Helene, Luck, Patrick, and Julie will return to Paris at Palais de Cognres from October-December 2010 for 30 shows! Tickets go on sale in December!

Frollo - Phantom!
This has to be seen to be believed. I have no clue about the why, the where or the when, only that presumably this was performed on stage (once?) at the end of the Russian version of NDP. Frollo returns from the dead to sing a bizzare version of 'Phantom of the Opera' to the hanging Esmeralda. Prepare to be amused.

Apprarently, Julie played Esmeralda at one time. I've read online that Helene suffered from throat problems, and she took over the role. In the video you can see various photos of her as Esmeralda, alongside Daniel and Bruno. I don't know if Garou, Patrick, and Luck were still playing their roles at the time; perhaps their understudies were just ( Read more... ) -
New god awful animated version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame
I found this new animated version on youtube.

I can't even begin to describe how terrible it is. The backgrounds and characters are drawn with...crayons? The voice acting is tearjerking....it's that bad. It does have Gringoire, Esmeralda's mother, I'll give them that, but when you see the Effiel Tower in a movie where it's supposed to be ( Read more... ) -
