I'm glad I don't live in a cursed apartment.

I mustered up enough courage to continue watching Apartment before dinner. At least I was reassured that people were still awake and walking around. ^^; It sort of has the typical horror movie formula, but I was left with a couple of unanswered questions.. But there were some seriously freaky scenes, and although my eyes were peeking through my ( Read more... )

Ahhh Swing Girls and Waterboys, I love those two movies, but Waterboys were funnier IMO XD I watched a similar movie originally called Water Dogs about a bunch of guys starting a host club, wonder if it's done by the same director =3

Heels are evil, I can never understand how some women can wear them 24/7 DX

World Food Expo? Sounds like a great time to visit the Philippines ^^

I haven't seen either Swing Girls or Waterboys, but I like how you described them so I'll have to look them up :)

XDDD They have these expos several times a year: Franchise Expo, Asia Food Expo, World Food Expo.. The only bad thing about having to stay your booth is not being able to walk around and tasting all the free samples of food, lol!

You should! They're both cute summer movies. :333

The apartment? o.o I think it would be safe to assume that you're referring to the japanese version? for obvious reasons i think XDD Which tracker is it on? o.o I can only find the Korean version [which I have yet to see]...though not like I'll be able to watch it anytime soon...I'm downloading 5GB worth of vobs from torrents, waiting for it to finish so I can encode em, then back em up for free space XD

I love asian horror films...though they scare the crap outta me >.>;; But I guess thats good too...scary movies are meant to scare ppl XP Most of the recent horror flicks in the US are crap...with the exception of the "Saw" series~ o.o Still, I watch them on my own...at night...when almost no one is awake [since they come on really late on the idies channel i have] /).(\ Last one I saw was... Audition, I believe...I was so scared watching the whole thing cuz people were telling me how scary it was! XD It was much more psychological though, however some scenes made jump in fear...I'm so pathetic XD

I watched the Korean version with English subtitles.. Is the Japanese version a remake, or is it just dubbed in Japanese? Either way, it'll still be scary. XD

I LOVE ASIAN HORROR MOVIES. American ones rely mostly on gore and shock factor, while Asian ones tend to have scary scenes that are aaaaagonizingly deliberate and creepily slow. Like that scene in the Grudge where the dead lady crawls down the stairs and the girl (or was it guy? I don't remember) just sat there in shock! I would have screamed hysterically and never opened my eyes till the morning. And I don't ever understand why the main character always has to go into the dead person's house alone in the middle of the night. Haven't they heard the saying "Curiosity killed the cat"? But that's a different discussion altogether. XDDD

I do like the Saw series though, but I haven't seen the third one yet. And I've been wanting to watch Audition for some time now! Takashi Miike is the king of creepy stuff.

now that you mention it...i have no clue XDD After watching the chizuru pv, I've been wanting to watch it~ either way im watching the korean version soon~

Yes! It builds suspense~ The ghosts are much creepier too, how they crawl on their hands and just suddenly appear @__@;;

And I don't ever understand why the main character always has to go into the dead person's house alone in the middle of the night.

rofl XDD or why even bother looking into the issue at all? I'd just go about and act like nothing ever happened :x

I luff Takashi Miike~! I think I'm going to re-watch [or buy the dvd], I don't even remember how it ended anymore...I just have this one scene stuck to my head *~*
