I'm glad I don't live in a cursed apartment.
I mustered up enough courage to continue watching Apartment before dinner. At least I was reassured that people were still awake and walking around. ^^; It sort of has the typical horror movie formula, but I was left with a couple of unanswered questions.. But there were some seriously freaky scenes, and although my eyes were peeking through my fingers for most of the movie, it made my heart jump several times. ^^;
So after that, I watched Swing Girls. XD And I was surprised to see Ueno Juri! She starred opposite Tamaki Hiroshi (♥) in Nodame Cantabile and Kame in Kindaichi 2005. It was a nice feel-good movie about a group of girls forming a jazz band.. And directed by the same guy who did Waterboys, so it had that sort of nostalgic summery feeling.♥ Unfortunately, my high school summer vacations weren't as exciting as the kind those movies depicted. XD There were a couple of actors/actresses whose faces I recognized from other dramas/movies, but I don't remember which ones, and I don't know their names, lol. In any case, I'm a sucker for stories about people who are labeled the unruly, hopeless bunch, who put their mind to something and prove everyone else wrong in the end. ^^ Which is probably why I liked Gokusen 2 a lot. XD
Okay, enough of jmovies for now. XD What's up in RL? The buyer that kept postponing the payment looks like he's finally going to do so tomorrow. And I foresee work to be busy for the coming months, because we're preparing for the World Food Expo 2007 on Aug. 1-4 in the (Phil) World Trade Center. :D I have to remember not to wear heels, because I'll be standing from 9-6 and they killed my feet the last time. x_x
