It's a trap. Exercise traps you with the shiny endorphins and then you start to get MUSCLES and you're like wow, I bet girls will totally dig these, and you rearrange your work schedule so you can go more often and you practice after work on your off nights and then your body's like "WHOA" because you can't eat like crap and work out like crazy at ( Read more... )

I was very sad when I learned that fruit is pretty much sugar.
Especially fruit juice.
Now what do I drink?

This thing? I do it. All the time. Specifically, frozen juice concentrate plus sparkling water. Hella cheaper than soda, and so much better for you. Plus, delicious.

i've been loving that trap, though very much wishing that it were more effective at trapping me, and that i had more organized traps in which to stick my feet. like a tai-chi class! WHY doesn't CSU have a tai-chi class???

It's all true. I miss frisbee so much, for this reason. If I'm not playing frisbee than I have no real motivation to eat well and stay properly hydrated, and I'm sleeping more (which is fun but such a waste of time) and get winded just walking up 3 flights of stairs, and grah. I want frisbee to start up again.

Also: dried apples, with maybe some peanut butter for dipping. And while it's true that fruit has a whole bunch of sugar, it's still loads better for you than most other snack food. Except carrots. They're good for you, and filling, and they make that nice crack when you bite into them. You know what, I think I'm going to have a carrot.
