I make polls! This is a Thanksgiving day poll cause yeah, I'm totally looking forward to the food. So, what do you eat at your Thanksgiving?

Poll Thanksgiving

BTW, it's totally snowing here! Woo hoo!

snow, poll, holidays

Of course, that's when I'm in the US. We're going to try to do something here, but I still will be missing some of my favorite foods!

You'll have to share what you get together! I hope it will be a fun time for you Shannon. I know you haven't had the best of times in Chauny but you seem to be meeting more people so that's a plus I hope.

LOVE the icon btw.

We usually have way more dessert than necessary. I don't like apple pie but I love French silk and Pumpkin pie and since Thanksgiving is just about the only time of the year I have pie at all, I tend to pig out more than I should.

The snow has unfortunately turned into rain, but it was really pretty for awhile there.

We go out to the Oley Valley Inn for Thanksgiving, so I have filet mignon for dinner ;)

See, I couldn't imagine going out for Thanksgiving. I love all the home-cooking. But, I don't like the mess so there is definitely one plus in going to a restaurant.

We used to stay home, but my grandmother's arthritis is such that she can't stand in the kitchen all day anymore. And my mom can't cook :)

Plus, the restaurant is owned by my mom's cousin, so we get to see extended family that way!

I think it doesn't bother me as much because I really don't like Thanksgiving food! Except stuffing, I love stuffing. lol

That makes sense then. At least this way you still get the family aspect but with food you enjoy more. And really, Thanksgiving isn't about the food it's about the family and just being thankful I think. :D I hope you have a wonderful one!
