I hope you're feeling better, and I'm starting to woner if we're the same fangirl. lol. I agree 100% about GA, haven't seen Jane Eyre yet, but loved Colin Firth as Darcy. *sigh*

Colin Firth will always be Darcy for me. I love the 2005 P&P with Keira Knightley, but if I really need a P&P fix, Colin will always win out.

I hope you'll feel better very soon :)
Your birthday is this wednesday, right?

I want to see "Jane Eyre" so much, but I must admit that except for "P&P" 95 and "North & South", tv/movie adaptations of english classics disappointed me...

Oh, you didn't like Izzie/Denny in the last season, why? I felt so terribly sad for them last season that I thought I will probably not hate a tv show more than I hated Grey's Anatomy in this season 2 final;)

Yep, on Wednesday, the 18th. I'll be 24. I just feel so old.

GORGEOUS icon by the way!

Yeah, I'd almost hold out on Jane Eyre. I just wasn't all that impressed with it and I'm usually all excited for BBC productions. It just wasn't.... great I guess. Maybe I have too high of expectations?

I just thought they extended the Izzie/Denny storyline too far into totally unrealistic proportions. yes it was sad when he died, but I found Alex's treatment of Izzie after she was devastated more moving than the entire Izzie/Denny stuff. I'm not sure why, but I just never liked that storyline.

I'll be 24 too, on may, the 23rd :)

and thanks for the icon, I just adore Audrey Hepburn ;o)

I know what you mean about the Izzie/Denny storyline, plus I think it kind of ruined Alex's character for a while in my opinion...

Yay, you got it! I'm always iffy with mailing things because I don't know how long they'd take to be delivered. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for the complement on my handwriting. :)

I hope the BBC does Wuthering Heights as well. That's my favorite story and I always like watching different takes on it. The one done by MTV was really bad though.

Me too! I always worry whether something will make it or not too.

I've never seen the MTV version but just knowing MTV did it makes me leery, lol.

Yep, apparently on October 20th it'll be out in a 3D format. I've seen adverts for it on tv so maybe you'll see one too. :)

Yay for cupcakes - I'm sure they will be very delicious and Halloween-y.

And I hope Alex goes into gynocology too, just for the sheer irony of it all.

LOL, exactly! And I think he's going to miss it now that Addison has let him go. He was so against it but I actually saw him fitting into it I guess.
