Round 1 of the NHL playoffs is coming to an end... So far it has been a rather disappointing playoffs series as pretty much all of the teams I've been rooting for, especially Pens and Flames, have been eliminated. This is only my first year the in Sport, Arts, and Entertainment Management major, and I've only had one Marketing class, and it didn't involve much sports at all. For the most part of this semester, we worked on a marketing plan for making season passes for an amusement park here in Pittsburgh.
I'm probably not the best person to ask as I was so unsure of even sticking with my major up until a few weeks ago.

After you get your art certificate, it definitely wouldn't hurt to take a marketing class or 2 at a community school just to see if you like it.

Thank you so much! I would've thought you took more than one Marketing class. While doing my research on the schools, some of the classes include Sports Marketing while some of the schools have Sports and Entertainment as part of the emphesis. I'm leaning towards Advertising & Public Relations within the Sports, Entertainment & Hospitality industry.

I've never taken any business related classes, and the closest thing to it that I have taken besides the math classes was Economics. I didn't do so bad at all when I took it. I'll have to check w/ a guiance councelor to see what's best for me. If I have room for my schedule for next semester, I may throw in some business/marketing related classes.

Once again thank you. Much greatly appreciate it. :)
