Round 1 of the NHL playoffs is coming to an end... So far it has been a rather disappointing playoffs series as pretty much all of the teams I've been rooting for, especially Pens and Flames, have been eliminated. As all the teams on the east have been settled, tonight the west will be settled by Game 7 of the Canucks/Stars series. The Canucks are my only hope for making it to the next round that's worth rooting for. If all else fails, I'll either not root for any teams at all, root for the ones I hate for jinxage or go ahead and root for my new adopted teams.
Right now, my new adopted teams worth rooting for are Ottawa Senators, NY Rangers and SJ Sharks.
All I could say right now is GO CANUCKS!!!
Other than that, aside for the mini vacations, my spring break has been pretty boring and uneventful, but I did get plenty of rest that whole week. Now I am dreading about going back to class today. I feel like I'm losing interest in art, and I just want to get this all done and over with. I'm a semester or less away from getting my graphics cert so I need to stay strong and suck it up and get the remaining classes done. After that, more than likely I'll work, but at the same time I'm thinking of going back to the university or a trade school. I still want to get my BFA in Graphic Design, but right now I am getting burnt out in art classes. The art schools may be out as I want to be more flexible with my major. In fact, I've been working on applications for various Cal States and doing more research for these schools. I'm thinking of getting another degree, a 2nd Bachelors Degree or a MBA in Marketing and Public Relations or try my luck at getting a MFA in Graphic Design in Cal State Fullerton or Cal State Long Beach. I need to one day talk to a guidance councelor and talk about my career plans for the future. I have to see what I'm doing now is at the right direction.
I did go to a Time Shares Holder meeting on Friday. I had to get this done and over with ever since I won a trip to Vegas, after signing up at an Ice Dogs game I went to. I just wanted them to stop constantly calling me to set up an appointment. The meeting was alright, but in all it was tedious, especially when they are asking me a gripload of money for vacations and staying at those nice fancy condors. It'd be nice, but I don't have the money right now.
To everyone: If you ever see one of these booths that offer free vacations and a chance to win game tix and stuff, just becareful when you sign up and take a chance. Until you set up and attend a meeting, they'll bug the heck outta you. Once you go through the meeting, they'll push and pursway you to buy the vacation package and stuff, but at least you get a free gift even if you don't buy the package. I thought I'd give you a heads up.
Well, I'm done ranting. I need to get ready for class. I'll have an entry on a mini trip to Riverside and Redlands. Till then, have a wonderful day.
