Mar 09, 2006 16:22

Do you ever have one of these feelings when you are anxious over something coming up (i.e. a t.v. series, an upcoming cd release or even perhaps a NHL trade deadline)? After all of that hype, you end up feeling dissapointed because all of that hype wasn't even all that. So all of that hype and anxiety for nothing ( Read more... )

Dammit, that pisses me off. We've now lost our second leading scorer twice this season, when Palffy retired and now with this. DAMN YOU CRAIG PATRICK! And we lost our only right-handed defensemen, and a guy who did nothing.

I hope it all works out. *attacks Sid with hugs* I'll be your mentor, hun.

Awwww... I know... with all of the trade fiasco going around with the Pens, it seems like the team is falling apart and in desperate need to be rebuilded. I know there are a handful of excellent players, but it'll take time before the team can be fully formed, especially w/ a bunch of baby players with very little vets.

Poor Sidney... He didn't have to go through this... :[ *Hugs & Squeezes him*

God, the trades sucked. Sounds like they weren't to hot for the Kings either! Geez, we lost Recs, who has been doing well, and get back 2 people who I have never heard of? What the hell?

Poor Sids. He's probably pissed!

But, I guess the 'Canes had to get something back from us taking out Cole for the season! teehee

Awww... I know. The Kings could've done way better with their trades, but I shouldn't complain too much b/c we got Mark Parrish & Brent Sopel.

I knew one way or another Rex would be trades, but what the Pens got in return could've been better in a way. I'm assuming one of the players is a young promising prospect, but I'd be ify over Krys Kolanos because earlier in the season he was placed on waivers before being claimed, traded, and everything like that. Hopefully things will turn around for him...

Yeah, I could imagine Sid being mad/sad over this trade fiasco, but he should hang in there. He has a handful of wonderful teammates plus he still has one of his mentors on the ice with him. Plus hopefully next year he'll be a fulltime leader (maybe perhaps he can be named team captain, but I still think he needs another year or so wearing the "A") to a set of new teammates including Evgeni Malkin or whoever the Pens get in this year's draft...

Best of luck w/ Rex and everyone else involved with the draft...

vector?!?! i've always thought it was like a cult. i don't like how you have to all this money to buy a whole set of knives so you can show people these knives and sell other knives.

Ugh! I know... I applied for Vector few years ago, and by the time I went through the 2nd stage of the interview, I was like forget it! Knife selling isn't my thing! Also, you had to buy your own set of knives which I thought was lame! Not only that, but I've heard so much bad things from Vector?

Honestly, no matter how desperate I am when it comes to jobs, I really cannot see myself selling vitamin suppliments plus I have this gut feeling that it'll be like Vector except it's for Vitamin Suppliments...

See, Carolina is basically renting Mark Recchi from us, and in return we get some no names(at least of them has already been sent down to Wilkes-Barre) because our season is shot to hell.

This season is all about finding out what works and what doesn't(obviously we haven't really found what works yet) but next year we are going to be unstoppable!

I have no doubt Mark Recchi will be back next season. He found his wife in Pittsburgh, he has a sweet as home here, he wants to retire in Pittsburgh. He'll be back.

Oh, and the Rangers are a huge mix of ex-Pens too! They should be the Mighty Pens or something like that! lol

Hopefully Rex will be back before he ever retires. I know Luuuuuc has made a gazillion trips back to L.A., but at least he's ending his career there since I don't expect him to ever play again next year.

Hopefully next year's Pens will kick ass, but I do ask them to refrain from winning against the Kings :P, but no matter what I'll always love them. < 333

And I almost forgot that the Rangers have a handful of ex-Pens too. The Mighty Pens sounds like an appropriate name for them. :)
