Where You Think You're Going Baby

So much tv to catch up on, I really don't know where to start.

First and foremost, my boyfriend has been watching all of this season's Spartacus so he is caught up in time for the finale on Friday, and I'm really not ready to process it all (I feel like this season has been happening for a long time, even though I really loved it, as opposed to ( Read more... )

I refused to watch any of the bs that was the Nurse's Ball. Reading recaps was awful enough. Ugh, I have such rage.

I need to catch up on New Girl!

PS - I miss you!

Miss you too! You would have hated the NB, and I completely did not expect to, at least not this much!

Ugh. I was cringing on your behalf at everything that went down with Brenda and Jax. I was kind of holding out hope for a reunion even after they broke off the engagement but after what's rumored to go down today I'm thinking no. It seems silly to bring them back engaged just to cock it all up BUT SOAPS DO NOT ALWAYS DO THE SENSIBLE THING. I am sorry and am sending you sympathetic wronged soap shipper hugs ( ... )

Oh god...what happened yesterday? Should I watch? I kind of refuse to believe it can get any worse than the way it was left, but every time I think that, TPTB is all challenge accepted! :/

I have potential fix-it fic. I don't know. I haven't written in, like, over five months. :|

Mmmm...I'm glad you enjoyed the ball, but if you had been watching when it was in its heyday, you might feel differently. And watching the full show for the first time in forever...bejeebus, do they push the Pretty Pretty Princess Syndrome with Sabrina. I said it all up there, I won't rehash it.

Ohhhhhhh God...I just watched yesterday's scenes.

I literally have no words.

There was a time when Brenda Barrett would have been my favorite female character ever, hands down, no question. Now...I'm just going to have to cut off all canon some time in 2006-ish. Georgie is still alive. Jax is still ambiguously going off to Rome, and never explaining his whereabouts (Ingo has had a long standing contract deal where he gets to take a huge vacation at some point in the year, and it's been explained away in a variety of ways) and never fully let Carly sink her horrible hooks into him. Patrick never turned into a dick, to the point where I stopped caring about him completely. Elizabeth and Lucky took their rightful place as the new generation touchstone couple for the show.

And then I can do what I like with my own head canon for Kristina, Ethan and Johnny.

I don't know if I've ever sent this to you, but here. You see? Brenda CHOSE Jax when she was in her right mind, when she was at the best, healthiest place she ever was, when she loved herself the most, without thinking about it, with all her heart, she chose Jax.

I'm so undecided on this Cece storyline. At the beginning of season 2, I was all about Schmidt & Cece, but now I feel like it would be forced if they got back together. After all of this "yes-no" this season between these two, I just don't know how much I would like it if they got back together.

That being said, I really like this whole Schmidt/Elizabeth storyline! I don't know where it's going or if it would be successful at all, but I'm at least intrigued. And I hope they keep it going for a little bit instead of always focusing on Cece & him. And I feel bad for Shivrang too. Like, I don't like the idea of him being with Cece necessarily, but I find him so interesting & he's a good guy!

Winston is fantastic & I wish he had a solid storyline because you are right; he is gold in every scene.

It *would* be really forced if Schmidt and Cece all of a sudden got back together by this season's end, especially because they've built up such a wonderful friendship this year that wasn't completely fraught with sexual tension (as exes so often have), even if they still showed their longing now and then ( ... )

What did they DO to Brenda and Jax? Or will reliving it be too traumatic for you? I'd understand it if it was.

I'll tell you, but I promise this isn't going to make a lick of sense ( ... )
