Oh, I love love love this! Your use of color in that first paragraph is brilliant, and I love this view of her through his eyes. Plus, anything titled after a Matt Nathanson song is guaranteed greatness. That last part and the way you subtly alluded to "Half of My Heart" absolutely killed me in the best way possible. I can't wait to see what else you write for them for the rest of your Advent fics!

I left you a comment as an anon a while ago, then I realized this might have freaked you out a bit :-) I'm actually the anon who commented on your J/T fic before and requested the Advent fic for New Year's Eve. And BTW, my name is Maria, so I'm no longer an anon :-). Someone commented on the Half of my Heart allusion. I could also see a veiled reference to Clarity: "And I will wait to find/If this will last forever". I don't know if this was what you meant, but anyway they really bring out the best of you as a writer <3

I have to say, the Clarity reference was accidental, but I do love that that came out of it.
