This is beautiful! it's so nice to see a bit of them happy, especially from his POV, instead of the sad aftermath or Bitter!John. I also love the color references in the beginning. My favorite line is the one about her writing 5 songs about him - it made me smile. I also loved the ice cream reference, I can just picture it :).
