Okay, back to business...
This one was difficult to figure out, especially for the women. Especially because this is a very specific situation. In any case, it's not rocket science...
NAEVIA (SPARTACUS)
This is kind of sticky, because I don't really consider Spartacus to be a male-driven show. Yes, there's lots of boys running around with swords and comic book style stunts and Jupiter's Cock!, but it's really not about the experience of being male, it's a glorious character study of free will. Anyway...I love Naevia, I love the shrewdness she uses to keep herself safe, and how she plays her relative position of bodyslave and virginal offering an dher relationship to the other house slaves as well as Crixus and Lucretia. and I just loved Lesley-Ann Brandt's portrayal of her so much. I just don't know how this season will go. In the event that Naevia is *not* my favorite any more, I would choose Aurelia, that crazycakes, tortured little girl. But she was such a minor character, I couldn't even find so much as a photo of her. I did find this, though:

HANK LAWSON (DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN)
Not very many pictures or clips to choose from with this show, but man, does that picture capture him. This is another controversial choice, because DQMW is very much an ensemble show, but at it's heart, it was about a woman who could pretty much do anything. (Didn't she do a sex change operation? In 1870? In the wild west?) Anyway, Hank. He was a great character. He was a saloon owner and a pimp but he had that Rhett Butler 'bad boy' brand of gentlemanliness. Just the kind of character I'm a sucker for.
