Ugh. Happy Monday. :)
Monday night is my marathon tv night (why are all the shows on one night?), but first, let's get down to business...
First, I have sixteen days left on my Holiday Ficathon, if you'd like some seasonal cheer from me. I've actually already written five little ficlets, so I'm happy for a little burst of inspiration! Thank God Ethan and Kristina didn't suck me totally dry (if it only keeps up...)

If you know me, you know I wrestle with the most inconsequential things in the world (like what to answer in a meme), and this category was difficult for me. These choices are somewhat controversial. You might not agree with these choices, in that they might be too large of a role to be considered 'supporting'. But they've really never been the leads, either. In any case...
BROOKE DAVIS (ONE TREE HILL)
While Brooke is definitely an important, central character, she's never really been the focus of the show the way Lucas and Peyton, or Lucas and Nathan, or even Nathan and Haley are/were. And also, this word, *support*- she's kind of been an example on how to be generous, with her time, her money, her heart. I'm so happy she seems to have found her happy ending (finally). I just want happy, fluffy times with her this final season with Julian, Davis and Jude. (I never understood- why was their kid named Jude?)

MATT SARACEN (FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS)
I feel like Matt (even more important than Brooke) was sort of the underscored journey of FNL, this quiet, uncertain boy who grew into a strong, brave man, shaped by the place he came from. If you don't love Matt Saracen, I judge you. Harshly. (He is just the first of many FNL characters you will find on this list.)
