Favorite building in NYC...via the Chicago Tribune, 1903.  Many believed at that time, that it would not endure and over 100 years later, it still stands.  In a city like NY with virtually no respect for its own history, that's quite an accomplishment.

Still want to make that trip to Paris this year, but I don't know if it's possible.  I'm thinking about November for smaller crowds, less tourists and more access to the city.  Pondering staying here... .Expensive and totally worth it!

It may be sacreligious to say that Randy Crawford almost owns George Benson's original. She is so silky smooth and sophisticated on this cut. Makes me think about late night spots, cocktails and some serious flirtation. Damn it's great to be grown!

Been watching the First Season of La Femme Nikita. Peta Wilson rocked as Nikita. Smart, vulnerable, tough and compassionate. I also totally dug her physical confidence and comfort with her body. She could wear anything and make it work. Never could stand "Section" and remain intrigued by the slippery Madeline and Michael.

I went to see it today and enjoyed the hell out of it.  I didn’t really know how I was going to react watching it, but there was no sadness.  I dug being able to see Michael work, and walked away thinking I’d seen more of his personality in 2 hours, than in the 20+ years I’ve been watching him perform.
