First off, I just want to say that your writing is excellent. Which is why reading this made me extremely uncomfortable, I think; the writing makes me want to like it, but I don't like watching anyone be as much of a bastard as France is in this. Which is an issue on my side of the page, not yours, really. Just my two cents.

Well. this is different.
It's not everyday I see a side of Francis portrayed in this manner. He's always interpreted as everyone's favorite pervert... he's a lover, yes, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a mean side.

I suppose, this is also because his display of strength strongly appealed to my sadistic tendencies.. but yeah... I think it's awesome that you could actually show why France is a superpower.

To be honest, I appreciate that you have recently taken a devil's advocate perspective on writing Francis. This may be hard to swallow for fans of Francis' adorable, freaky, sissy, pervy side, but it's a bold, fresh move for me.

I wish for you to continue this. But if you decide to leave the story in this manner, I respect that. (Though I would love to see more of his brutal make out with Arthur *wink, wink*)

Glad to see you're back to posting fics, and allowing comments too. And yeah, I think it's good not to let what others think hold you back. These are your fics after all. And as far the dark quality, beauty... hmmm perhaps not beauty per se... art, and perhaps beauty as well, can and often do come from very dark places and reflect very dark subjects. I think what matters is how you handle that darkness, and from what I've seen of your fics you have the skill to handle it well

I agree with starsong 24. Your writing style is so absolutely fantastic that this fic is horrifying - horrifying in the sense that evil Francis will give me nightmares tonight. The worst part is that Francis isn't even ooc! This side of him fits him so damningly well that I will never look at Francis the same way again TT_TT
