1. Writing Arabic: (Nessa brought this to mind a couple hours ago) I thoroughly enjoy the language, especially writing its script. A lot of my notes are made in this language because it's so much more to the point - three letters in one swoop, instead of 'according to' for instance. Snapped the end off my elbow on the 6th of February, and they wouldn't fix it while I was in Germany - I've had plenty of time since then to self-diagnose once all the swelling and ddisfigurement went away, since yesterday (the 19th) was the first day I'd had a proper diagnosis by, oh, doctors with neat machines.

Snow's not really all that unfamiliar a thing to Germany, but today's blanket made me smile.

Also, there was a little snowman outside with an orange chem light for a nose.

It's been a good morning so far.

It says a lot about your job choice when you can look at an ominous black spot in your breadloaf and say "I hope that's just a bug and not mold."

...it's okay because it was neither (mouse poo).
