Thanks for crosposting. This was powerful. Quite a different view to Mrs. Dent. Love the last line, and the part of the cleavage because I'm naughty like that: Sometimes she seemed to do it on purpose. Oh, maybe?

I'm glad you liked it! Based on Harvey's background in TDK novel, I kind of felt that he and his mom were pretty close when he was young. But it was hinted at that she had mental problems too. Would make sense since Harvey's psychological problems tend to be hereditary... He wants to be close to his mom, but her craziness is kind of a deterrent for social interaction.

Haha, yeah she's just a little crazy. Poor Harvey.
