'To seek out new life...' [Observation Lounge; Len, Tina's bra; Jim]

Nov 11, 2009 23:03

After his latest encounter with what appeared to all intents and purposes to be sentient lingerie on its online journal, and a quick message to Jim, Leonard set off to the observation lounge feeling an odd mixture of bemusement and anticipation.

Life in space, he reflected, was apparently even stranger than the not-quite fiction that had been Star Trek.

Unless, of course, Tina had been right all along, and this really was one elaborate hoax - but somehow, he didn't think so.

The observation lounge was dark and deserted when he reached it, and it took his eyes a moment to adjust to the illumination provided by the starlight. Once they did though, he could clearly make out a rather pretty lace bra, slung over the back of one of the chairs, almost as if it had been carelessly forgotten by someone after an impromtu tete-a-tete.

Grasping his PADD tightly - he might feel a lot like Spock right now, but still doubted his abilities to mind-meld with anything but the Buick - he approached slowly.

this is not l.a., i am not spock, life here is strange, wtf?
