At Len's approach, the bra... Well, it rippled, and lifted up slightly off the back of the chair, balancing somehow on its straps so that it appeared to be standing.

It waved one lacy edge in greeting. Or maybe welcome. Or maybe it was just waving in a draft.

Right. Definitely not a hoax then, unless 23rd century technology was even more impressive than Len had assumed. (But who on earth would design a moving bra, anyway?)

"Hello, I'm Len," he said with a tentative smile, then motioned to his PADD. "I've, uh, brought this along so we can communicate?" The back of the chair looked a little unstable, so he set it onto the table in front of it instead.

And hoped that the bra was, somehow, capable of perceiving spoken words.

The bra waved again, and hopped nimbly down from the back of the chair before scuttling onto the table and crouching over the PADD. It seemed to rearrange itself somehow, so that it could extend two long straps with metal clasps on the ends, with which it typed. With surprising rapidity, really.

Len hello hello hello Tina's bra i

Leonard stared in utter amazement at the agility displayed by what he had up to this date, always considered a rather overcomplicated piece of clothing. Underwear. Whatever.

"It's nice to meet you, finally," he responded, moving to sit in the chair, and then, just to be sure, "So, you can, uh, perceive my talking?"
