I just saw American Psycho, and mang was it a trip. They really pulled off the disgruntled, hallucinagenic, fucked up effect well--though it still can't top Fight Club on that front. I'm not sure if I liked the movie very much, but there were some moments that were pure comedy gold--like when he was about to kill Luis, but couldn't go through with

I have seen that! This IS the movie where he drops a running chainsaw down a stair well on some girl/hooker? And if it is the movie I'm thinking of, I didn't really get the message either. Beware of yuppies? O_o

Yup yup! The message is something about the social rage incurred by the population because of the injustices committed by the government...using the form of a serial killer to conceptualize that. Or something @_@
