I'm fine. Just worried. I'm up in the North Island and ages (about 8 hours drive and 2 hours on ship, or 1.5hrs flight) North-West of Christchurch. It's just horrible, knowing what's happening down there and not being able to help in the ways I want to. I just wanna buy a quad bike and start collecting water for people, you know? Just... anything to help.

It's actually not horrible. I think pretty much everyone has power and water now. I think.
Having a day off uni has given me a wierd weekend feeling I'm not sure how to deal with though.

My bro in Aranui and my BFF in Linwood/Phillipstown still don't have water. Power isn't a problem apart from some places out Sumner way, though, from what I'm reading on the civil defence update thing. It's good to know everything's pretty much normal going, though.

Ag, crap. Apparently we're supposed to be boiling the water as well.
I didn't know this until too late, obv lol.
Hope your bro and such are okay- do they have access to water yet? Cause they could probably come and fill up at our tap if they need to.
