*Phew*

Alright. So, everyone is mostly safe in in shaky, shattered, munted Christchurch. No fatalities this time. There are 2 people with serious injuries due to St John's Church falling on them - they're still in hospital - but all others with injuries have been released. More buildings down in the CBD Red zone. Thank God they got all the workers out after the 5.5 an hour or so before. Infrastructure is almost back to how it was after the 6.3 February quake, but I expect power will be restored much more quickly due to the overhead lines set up in February. Water's going to be a much larger issue. Aranui, where my brother lives, is back to being flooded with liquifaction. He's bemoaning the future poo-dust already. My friends have checked in and they're all okay. Half of them live over on the West side so they're barely affected. Lee-Lee my BFF is on the South-East side, about 5kms from the epicentre, and all she's saying is that her kitchen likes to rock n' roll. <3

So, yes. No deaths, but a lot more money is needed to get Chch back on its feet. Guess the help_nz is going to need to pick itself up again.

event: help_nz, life, status: will this never end, event: save nz
