when anyone who's paying attention to me wants to see more of Action Figures Sold Separately??
*raises hand hesitantly* Um... I could also stand to see more of Elijah's Cup? That is to say, if ever it got updated, I would thank the Lord (and you) fasting.

Qui-Gon is kind of a dick. I blame the whole 'Living Force' philosophy of his. When you believe that there's an omnipotent power that knows what should happen, and you should attune yourself to it and do what it desires... I think the kindest way to describe it is that he seems like a stoner unaware of the existence of anyone who's not important according to the voices in his head.

Yes, I think there is going to be some revision of BWT and I would really like to get the last of "A Place Called Azkaban" finished; that latter one I have more inspiration for, honestly. I kind of vaguely plotted BWT and TQW without really outlining or thinking things through, so I have to work on that.

Hahah, that's a hilarious characterization of Qui-Gon. I see him more as so focused on the moment and letting tomorrow take care of itself that he loses sight of the bigger picture sometimes; though granted, occasionally the "bigger picture" as seen by the Unifying Force ppl is not so much "mission objective" as "next 100 years," so there's that, too.

Really? Oh my goodness, that is wonderful news! I kind of gave up on it ever updating, although it is a great series and what we have already is beyond excellent.

Well, he does have that 'concentrate of the moment' quote, 'don't concentrate on the future at the expense of the moment' in the beginning of Phantom Menace with Obi Wan. But as you say, when the future is 'the next 100 years' that makes a lot of sense.
Personally, I kind of love Qui-Gon, he's one of my favorite Jedi, but that's probably because he's such a Stoic dick who believes in the Living Force and is so maverick the Council says he's a Grey Jedi.
