“Mother… I miss you…” Jun’s whispered in the dark as thick tears rolling freely on his face. He hadn’t seen her and his sister for years, and the dark incident had brought back his longing in full force. He needed her hug, he needed her to comfort him and telling him that everything would be okay, but only the cold air that was enveloping him right now instead of the warm body of his mother. His heart was bleeding deeply and right now there was no one that could stop the bleeding.

His loved ones were so far, out of his reach.

He wanted to run to his tree, which had grown bigger year by year, taller than him now, but he didn’t have the strength right now. Maybe later when he was strong enough.

He wondered if the tree was a human, if it knew what was happening to Jun, would it come to Jun’s rescue?

Would it still regard him as friend when he had been impure?

Jun snorted thinking his brain had went haywire due to his incident. That tree was just a tree. Even if he prayed everyday under the tree it wouldn’t change the fact that it was just a tree.

Suddenly a small leaf fall in front of his eyes. He picked it up with shaky fingers. It shocked him. He felt more tears filled his eyes as he recognised the fresh leaf. It came from a Sakura tree. But how? There were no Sakura trees around the quarters.

Jun turned his head towards the window. Oh, it was slightly opened. Perhaps Saku-chan, the name he had given to his tree, sent the leaf to calm him down, to comfort him, to say that Jun wasn’t alone. Jun smiled tearily as he brought the leaf closer to his heart. It warmed his heart to some extent.

For now this would do.

He wasn’t alone.

He couldn’t run from the fact that he had already been touched unwillingly however it wasn’t the end of the world for him.
Even if his future was pretty bleak, he was still alive. He needed to finish what he was here for. To free his family from debt even if he had to sacrifice himself. He couldn’t die before that. His soul won’t rest in peace if he knew he fail in his task.

All for the sake of his mother and sister, for them to have a debt-free life.

In the end he spent the whole night looking at nothing, his head filled with the questions of ‘what if’.

What if his father didn’t owe money from the Sakurai clan?

What if he worked hard in his family field to pay their debt instead of offering himself to come here?

What if he was strong enough to push the young master away?

Alas he didn’t have any answers because the fact was all of those things had happened the way that they were. There was no use of thinking the thing that already in the pass.

He was just a slave. That was the bitter truth.

Satoshi found him hugging himself at the corner of their shared room, looking haggard and broken. Slowly, he approached Jun with tears in his eyes. However, Jun’s mind was somewhere else to care why Satoshi was crying.

“I’m sorry…” Satoshi said with a trembling voice.

Jun was silent as he turned his face towards his roommate.

“Why?” he croaked, his mind was still full on last night and he couldn’t even comprehend what Satoshi was trying to tell him. Was Satoshi sympathising with him?

“I should’ve saved you but I’m a pathetic man… th- they forced me to go outside so he- he could… Oh Jun-kun, I’m so sorry! I’m a bad friend!” Satoshi’s crying went a little louder. Oh that was why he wasn’t there at that time… Jun stared at him, his hand reaching Satoshi’s cheek to wipe the tears away, but more falling down without invitation. He was supposed to be the one who cried not Satoshi. Suddenly he realised that someone did care about him here. Satoshi was willing to cry with him like a real friend, he thought. Tears started brimming on Jun’s eyes as he said, “It’s okay… you couldn’t do anything anyway…” with a cracked voice. Satoshi’s crying went a notch louder and Jun grabbed him into a hug and they ended up crying together.

*

“Are your… okay?” Satoshi looked at him worriedly as he brought a bowl of rice into their room. Jun’s body was in so much pain he could only lied on his stained futon. Jun hissed painfully when he tried to sit. Satoshi rushed to his side and grabbed his arms to steady him so he didn’t fall back on his futon.

“He’s cruel to you… he made you like this and I hate him!” exclaimed Satoshi passionately.

“Don’t let him hear you saying that…” whispered Jun weakly.

“I’m saying the truth!”

“Yes, I understand that you sympathise with me but I don’t want you to get hurt later…” mumbled Jun, pointing the harsh reality to Satoshi even if it was hard. The young master was a monster to him but never in his life had he wanted to cause Satoshi any trouble. It was pathetic but he was just a slave to the Sakurais and they could do anything to him, it was hard to take but he had to swallow the bitter truth, even if he didn’t like it.

“Jun-kun-”

“Thank you Satoshi-kun for the food…” Jun said instead cutting Satoshi’s words.

*

Jun watched the sunlight fading little by little in his tiny room. He couldn’t work the whole day and thankfully no one came to force him to work. His body was hurting. There were bruises everywhere. He was afraid to check his body at first, unwilling to bring his mind back to the ugly incident, but when Satoshi washed him that afternoon, with reluctant eyes he looked at the part of his body that his eyes could reach when Satoshi gasped and watched him in pity.

There were bite marks on his shoulder where Sakurai bit him when he shoot his semen inside him. There were bruises on his face where the young master grabbed him to force Jun to face him. There were also finger-like bruises on his hips when Sakurai hold him so forcefully so his body couldn’t move away. Jun closed his eyes tightly, his mouth gasping slightly as he suddenly remembered how he still could feel that thing moving on his passage, tearing him apart.  His body began to tremble and when Satoshi realise that Jun’s mind wasn’t with him anymore, he carried Jun’s skinny body to their bedroom and covered Jun with clothes and blanket as he stayed with him the whole night massaging Jun’s sore body.

*

The staffs in the entire house they shared clearly had heard something about him being violated, although Jun wasn’t sure whether all of them were sympathising with him or not or even knew the real story at all, judging by the disgusted look some of them threw at him, although most of them surely look at him with pity. It pained Jun even more, when some of the male and female staffs trying to dig information out of him, about what seduction methods he used until the young master came to him himself. Jun tried to tell them that he didn’t want to relive it because it was too painful, but they mistook him for being arrogant, not wanting to share his secrets. Jun wanted to scream in frustration at them for not understanding that he didn’t want to be violated, not by the young master, and not even by anyone, because it had broken him, making him impure and dirty and nobody in their right mind won’t allow themselves to be deflowered by the most disgusting method ever.

Jun run to his Saku-chan and consoled himself that at least he still got the tree and Satoshi beside him even if the world was against him. He stayed under the tree until Satoshi came to drag him back to their room.

Since then, he was never approached by anyone anymore. He still felt eyes following him, but only whispers that dare to reach him. By the whispers he heard from a group of retainers, it seemed that the young Master had forbidden anyone from touching him. Jun didn’t know whether to be thankful or not. He was happy that finally he was left alone, but it just raised the harsh fact that the young Master had put his claim on him, to own him physically.

“I don’t know that the young Master wants him too…”

“… He might be putting a spell on our young Master…”

“…Yeah, just like he is putting a spell onto all of us hahaha…”

“I heard from Manabe-sama that the boy seduced Sho-sama and asked him to come to his room. That was why our young master only came to him when he was drunk so he won’t feel disgusted…”

“Haha he just saying that, I’m sure Manabe-sama himself wanted to be one who take that boy instead of the young master!”
“…Obviously he has no chance now that he was ordered to live outside the castle...”

“…You’re right… I heard he was demoted because of that boy…”

“.. That boy is dangerous, right?...”

“Ahhh…Matsuoka-sama must be gutted that he’s out of bound now, I heard that he wants the boy too…”

“…poor him, he had to hear them outside the room that night…”

“I’m sure all of us are disappointed that he has been taken, or else we can happily share him right now…”

“Yeah, such a pity, it’s rare to find such an eye candy here…”

“Such a beautiful young servant…”

“Nah, he’s just a slave and now he’s a sex slave…”

“Hahaha…”

A sex slave… Was that what he had become?

A/N: Just a quick update. This story is really depressing right... But Jun's fate will probably turns better after this :D
