There's no rule against having house elves, as far as I know.

I think it depends on the individual leases - levels and such. I had a clause in my lease allowing me to have one when I was on the eighth floor before moving up, anyway.

We wouldn't have one available to us even if it were in our lease, sadly. I just think if the building had one, it would get rid of the sand problem much faster than the caretaker here.

Of course not. May I ask why? As breweries are very different from "getting a drink".

And the building could at least use a maid, if not a house elf.

I have a new client - Wayne Hopkins. He's recently inherited a pub and I want to look into what the average prices are for different alcohols to make sure he's not getting ripped off.

Or at least a caretaker who's more useful than Poliakoff seems to be.
