So I lived through the month of crazy, more or less! Now I'm trying to do the ten million freakin' things I did not do while I was losing my mind, all before we take off for the beach on Saturday. Also, I need to write so much that my brain itches, but it's kinda hard to get creative when my kids have officially spent so much time together that

As for the book, I really an enjoying the Chaos Walking trilogy (thanks for the rec, century_fox!). However, one thing that has started bothering me as I begin the third book is the relentless action. Okay, probably that sounds odd, but what I mean is that most books I read have crazy moments and quiet moments, and the first book in the trilogy absolutely did this. But as it goes on, it's as if ever chapter and sometimes even every segment ends with a sentence such as, "And then the room exploded." I'm not knocking the books at all. I just like the characters so much that I wish I could spend a little more time with them when they're not 100% fighting for their lives ( ... )

So I thought you were talking about a current TV show to rec. But then I realized that'd be dumb because you wouldn't really have anything to rec other than TWD which you probably wouldn't rec because it's terribly sad. ANYWAY, duh The X-Files. It's a show that doesn't break your heart. And isn't juvenile. And Mulder and Scully are just above average humans, ethically. So.
Also... I almost went with "Wait fictional characters aren't real?" because I think I fit into that category more than most people, in the sense that I can invest so deeply that they're in my every last thought and I can't sleep and stuff. But I thought that choosing that answer would minimize the extent to which YOU just belong in that category. Because you're you and amazing and your imagination knows no bounds ( ... )

LOL, oh sorry I should have explained that I was referring to any TV show ever. Because yeah, if we were talking about something currently airing, I'd be out. I mean I really do enjoy TWD as you know, but geez it makes fucking 24 look cheerful. Ergh.
My imagination knows SO MANY BOUNDS, which is why I can't even write the ficlet where Renee goes to talk to Kim, because that ficlet totally needs to happen and wtf me?
Your day sounds about as exciting as mine. No offense;) *

I detested Mansfield Park but it works for some Austen fans. My husband is reading it now, so we'll see.
I don't really think TWD is a stupid show, I just don't watch shows about zombies etc. anymore. Plus shows that kill off their characters depress me.

Ugh, I adore Austen but I really hate Mansfield Park. In fact, I can never decide whether my least favorite Austen novel is that one or Northanger Abbey.
UGH, TWD. I have no idea why I even watch this terrible terrible show. I mean I do, when I'm having an honest mood, because situations that force people to cut the crap are my ultimate thing. But hell yes, they kill off way too many characters and it's just beyond depressing. I don't even want to know what they're going to do this season. It's sort of amusing, because I used to think XF was depressing, and yet pretty much everything I've been into since then makes it look sunny!

Recommending shows to people though, it's tricky. It really depends on the person.
We still on for chatting tonight?

Yes! I even set a chatting reminder in my iPhone. Maybe like 8:30 or something like that? I can text you before. Can we Skype? It tends to be easier for me to hear you that way for some reason. Idk if it's my phone or whatever.
Hehe, you gave 24 a 2. Optimism;)
