A goofy poll and whatever.

So I lived through the month of crazy, more or less! Now I'm trying to do the ten million freakin' things I did not do while I was losing my mind, all before we take off for the beach on Saturday. Also, I need to write so much that my brain itches, but it's kinda hard to get creative when my kids have officially spent so much time together that ( Read more... )

poll silliness, random, pop culture makes me cry

OMG. It's not even humid and hot HERE. I mean more so than there, of course, but it's not bad and I'm loving it and my run last night was amazing because I got back and I wasn't totally dripping with sweat AND there were no blisters.

So I thought you were talking about a current TV show to rec. But then I realized that'd be dumb because you wouldn't really have anything to rec other than TWD which you probably wouldn't rec because it's terribly sad. ANYWAY, duh The X-Files. It's a show that doesn't break your heart. And isn't juvenile. And Mulder and Scully are just above average humans, ethically. So.

Also... I almost went with "Wait fictional characters aren't real?" because I think I fit into that category more than most people, in the sense that I can invest so deeply that they're in my every last thought and I can't sleep and stuff. But I thought that choosing that answer would minimize the extent to which YOU just belong in that category. Because you're you and amazing and your imagination knows no bounds.

Today I have to do a lot of laundry, find some jobs to apply for, and maybe clean out my closet. Muah.

Yay for no blisters and also no dying of heatstroke. I even managed to get N out running yesterday, and since it's supposed to rain tomorrow, I'm gonna see if I can do the same this afternoon. It is going to be warmer today, but after that week from hell we had, that's not really saying much.

LOL, oh sorry I should have explained that I was referring to any TV show ever. Because yeah, if we were talking about something currently airing, I'd be out. I mean I really do enjoy TWD as you know, but geez it makes fucking 24 look cheerful. Ergh.

My imagination knows SO MANY BOUNDS, which is why I can't even write the ficlet where Renee goes to talk to Kim, because that ficlet totally needs to happen and wtf me?

Your day sounds about as exciting as mine. No offense;) *
