I had 香菇 in it. If you look closely, there are 2 different lumps of black. One is the 香菇, and the other is the prunes. Don't know why, but I didn't think the 香菇's taste went into the fish or the sauce. Going to try slicing them in future.
Nice text on the pictures as well. I like the text on you and Tim. :)

not jealous, mind u
of the efforts u put into & the joy u derive of cooking. Ur dinners do look so good. I could do with half of ur enthusiasm... but i've met my lucky star.
My senior engineer & wife are culinary fanatics. However I dont quite share their liking of rabbit meat (yes there are rabbit body parts in my fridge now!) and innards, etc. However Im not a picky person. Im contented for jus two mouthfuls of rice & some vege & chicken cube soup. By the way, they've been awfully nice to me so I'll do what you plan to do, cook something nice for them :)

I think I am putting in so much effort and deriving so much joy from it because I am too free here and have nothing better to do. Oddly, this is not saving me much money on food. But well, this is combining a necessity (eating) and a hobby (time killer?), so it's killing 2 birds with one stone.
Hmm... rabbit. I have seen them sell rabbit in Pittsburgh before. It creeps me a little because you see the entire form of the dead rabbit. I actually learnt how to kill + prepare a rabbit in a jungle survival course before. It traumatizes me.
Maybe the next thing you know... they are the owners of a 龙门客栈, the one that makes 人肉包... hiak hiak...
