Heath

Jan 24, 2008 22:59

This whole situation with Heath's death (I still cannot process those two words together) has really been sitting badly with me. I find myself just at odd moments tearing up and just thinking it's one big bad joke. I know a lot of us are feeling like this because it's something so out of no where. While I was cleaning up my room this weekend I ( Read more... )

Don't feel stupid writing out your feelings! Heath wasn't a "crush" for me so I can't say I know exactly how you feel, but I kind of get it. I'm even having a hard time with it.

I wish it never happened.

*hugs*

Thanks. I think a lot of people are, crush or no, it was just so unexpected. But then that's the way the universe works sometimes.

Definitely don't feel stupid for expressing your feelings with things like this..

I'm having a hard time still getting my brain wrapped around that he'd dead. Gone. Never again. No more. It just doesn't seem like it's possible.

He was like the James Dean for people about 20-28 years old I think. Since it's been about ten years since he started his career movie wise with A Knights Tale and Ned Kelly. When I was told by my friend through messenger I was just beyond shocked. And I told my other friend Ria through text and she was just mind-boggled.

It's tragic.. and I hope they conclude that it was a complete accident. Poor guy couldn't sleep! :( *sigh* I think it's just going to take a long time for anyone to get over, fan, friend or family a like. RIP Heath

I hate that everyone (tabloids) is taking the 'junkie' angle. I don't think that's what happened. I think it was a stupid mistake by a guy that was suffering from insomnia and maybe high anxiety and just wanted to relax and unfortunately he just took too much. So tragic.

yeah that's what i think. TOAl acidental overdose since all he wanted was to sleep *sigh* stupid news people takin anything for a story.. and it was so sick that there were hordes of papurazzi outside that apartment to get the "money shot" when his body was wheeled out to the ambulance..

But I do hope he can have a private funeral - the man deserves that completely and I'm going to be even more upset if someone leaks out its location or something. :(

I can't look at those shots of them putting him in that ambulance, it was so unnecessary and just tacky.

I don't think it's silly or irrational to feel this way. As human beings, we each...connect to things, in our own time and purpose, and once they are embedded in our hearts, they become a part of us. It can be anything. A book, a piece of music, a film - or even, I believe, another person, even someone we've never met. Maybe the piece/person moved us, or was a lifeline in a time where everything else was chaos, where everything else hurt, but regardless of the reason, things like this become part of the tapestries that make us and it's reasonable to grieve when we lose them ( ... )

You made me cry. *sniffles* But I do feel better, so I'm glad I got this out. I kept opening my LJ client and trying to type it up and kept deleting it because I was just like 'nah, it's to dumb'. I bought the Entertainment Weekly with him on the cover today and I haven't been able to look through it yet, but I'm glad I did, because I know when I want to I'll have it.

I did also get the new SPN magazine today and it is faboo.

I didn't mean to! But sometimes cries are good. *hugs you tight* I'm glad you wrote this. I firmly believe it's never dumb to share your feelings, especially strong ones, no matter what they pertain to.

Heath himself would probably be overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and grief that is surrounding his death - it only goes to show how much one person can touch many without ever realizing it. When I was watching 10 Things I Hate About You it kept striking me how full of life and talent he seemed to be, in every frame he was in, and it just broke my heart that the world and all of us have lost that spark ( ... )

Yeah, the People magazine just seemed to throw it together without any real thought. I've always liked EW better anyways, less trashy.
