I have no idea what's going on but no one else is posting, sooooo this is all I have:
❝ Bad news, I just talked to Starz and they said, "We did not get the license for LotS because it's been discontinued." So... I had such hopes. So others want the show but they can't get it because it's been "discontinued", which is saying it's been canceled and ( Read more... )

There were apparently a couple reports that they were outbid by another network, but I haven't seen them personally.

;_;

Would someone please just make an official statement already? I think everyone is getting tired of having to snoop around for some answers. Is it really so hard for them to tell the fans about what's going on and whether we should hope?

part of me wonders if they are being very deliberate in not releasing any official statements -- they want to see how willing fans are to contort themselves into trying to get a new season. idk, though. it is frustrating to never have official word.

I doubt they're doing it for their own amusement, it's more likely the parties in negotiation are under strict confidentiality agreements. I was actually surprised that call staff from STARZ even their interest known to the public.

I'm so confused by all this. That link someone made where FlashForward fans were apparently being told the exact same things by Starz is crazy weird.

Le sigh.

If Starz was shopping for both of the shows I don't see how that's weird. It's the same people answering the same questions about a show in the same situation, so it's natural the answers are the same.

This is OT, but could you link me to that, please? I'm a big fan of both shows and I haven't heard any news about FF for a long time.
