I used to freaking LOVE My Little Pony back in the day... of course, you'd consider the ponies I used to watch hardcore old school. xD I might give the show a go but the problem is I have no idea if it'd air on any of my cable channels. Or I'll try to look it up online

It's online and it is totally worth it! I actually spent a few hours of my fall break rooting through my old toys to find our two little Ponies. ^^ Only found one this time... but I'll keep looking!

I did say a little something along the lines of 'I hope you don't think all Christians are like that' and he was really sweet about it and was like 'no, this was just an example of religion being used as an excuse for wars and stuff' , so I think we're okay now.

We had an ACTUAL CONVERSATION on Friday. *strangled sounds of glee* So I just gotta keep making progress~

You should try! I'm doing it with at least three other girls up here at school~ ^^

I love Hyperbole and a Half. Some of those entries make me laugh so hard my eyes start tearing up. She doesn't update often, but the entries are usually long.

Sorry about your hot professor being offensive. Sometimes it feels like Academia loves to show off how welcoming they are by bashing groups in power/who usually bash minorities. Like if you support gays, yaaay, and then you can talk about how much heteronormative culture sucks.
I had a professor who at first was all adorable and then half way through the semester he reveals that actually he's an asshat who can't teach.

Oh, wow, yeah, I've noticed that. (Although my prof. more or less apologized so I think we're okay now) Like, I find it really ironic that a lot of people hate Christianity because a vocal minority of us (no, really! It's a minority!) are really obnoxious and intolerant, when the simple act of hating an entire religion based on a few examples is kinda intolerant in and of itself. But I dunno, I just feel like I can't speak up because I'm white, Christian, and not in poverty. :(
