So the husband pointed out a delightfully silly project to me the other day, the appropriately named Rainbow Barf Cat Plush Scarf. Looks fantastically silly, but of course it's a crochet pattern, and I haven't done crochet since learning how to do an I-cord with my grandmother as a kid. I can knit (slowly) 'til my heart's content, but I hadn't yet

i have learned to love crochet about so many many many years of knitting. i actually prefer the look that knitting produces but when i think hook or needles? hook wins every time.

(i taught myself, btw, before YouTube so I hold my hook and yarn all wrong. but i don't care.)
