I think I've broken my yarn pull-ball winder. I suspect it's fallen out of the closet one too many times and knocked something out of whack because last night the second ball of yarn in a row just thoroughly fucked up and did not wind correctly. Finished Pierre the Penguin, the second of the two Woobles kits. I focused on keeping the stitches looser this time so it wouldn't be quite as difficult to crochet, with the result that Pierre is a lot bigger than Kiki, though the instructions for the bodies are the same.

The DC Men's Knitting group had our first video chat get together this afternoon, which I think worked well. Was a last minute affair, so weren't many of us, but it was still good to see some of the guys. So the husband pointed out a delightfully silly project to me the other day, the appropriately named Rainbow Barf Cat Plush Scarf. Looks fantastically silly, but of course it's a crochet pattern, and I haven't done crochet since learning how to do an I-cord with my grandmother as a kid.
