Get it! I'm using the non-3G kind, and even that is worth it! It makes you feel ten times prettier...

Well if you're gonna get the non-3g kind, might as well wait for people to release a hack for the 3g and get your 3g phone from HK or SG. Kasi the non3g locks itself to its original network whenever you try to update the firmware, ganun din magiging drama ng 3g phone. Getting the latest firmware is the only thing you're paying for when you'll get your iphone from Globe. And Globe's iphone costs double ( ... )

i don't think most mac users buy their stuff abroad. 10 out of my 10 friends who are mac users buy their stuff here. for practicality's sake. think about it, the pamasahe you buy and the effort you go through to buy something abroad is equal or even more than what you pay in the end. this is what irks me because people think of it as just the sticker price of a product. think about all the COSTS incurred to buy that product. BASIC FINANCE.

being from globe before, i used to work with the designing of plans. you don't understand the business of it that's why you think it's expensive. that said, the iphone isn't for everybody just yet. i think we forgt that mac products are priced at a premium for a certain target audience. it's basic marketing. and believe me, i'm not defending globe. i'm defending common sense.

AND we forget how the 199 pricing of AT&T works. check out the plans that go with it and the fees. it turns out to be the same price. or even more expensive.

haha! buying abroad kasi masaya! may ibang shopping pang kasali na concept!

so globe's pricing is at par as any iphone 3g telco ready worldwide?

mac as in mac na make up! chowz.

If you check out philmug, a lot of people get it from Longbeard (http://feedback.longbeard.info/) who gets it from HK. It's much much cheaper even with his P6,000 na patong for the imac.

I've been using a hacked iphone and I like it because I can show nice pictures on it. And the groovy animated transitions make it a Pixar movie experience. And of course, I have Give It 2 Me as a ringtone. And ano pa ba? And the SMS is threaded, just the way I liked it on my old Treo.

The downside? I can't forward messages. I can't cut and paste. I can't receive business cards. I can't forward contacts. There are hacks for some of these things, but if you're on the latest firmware, baka hindi pa updated yung hacks to work with it. l would not recommend the iphone to people who want these basic functions. Nakakafrustrate.

I have a friend who wanted the iPhone so he could play music and browse the internet daw. Sabi ko, keep your current phone and just get an iPod Touch. lagi naman siyang may bag eh.

actually yun lang din ang habol ko. ang groovy animated transitions and the fact that it's a whole touch screen phone. parang it's so future. parang mag movies lang sha. hahaha.

though natakot ako sa forwarding of messages. hmmm.. sa iphone 3g kaya na solve na ang issue na ito?

uy, you just need to get the WeTool application for the iphone to forward messages! :)
