I'm in between books right now. As a rule (that evolved rather organically) I take at least a day off in between one book and another. I do this for many reasons. The first has something to do with respect for the book and for the author. Whoever wrote the book put a lot of themselves in it. I survived fall quarter ... and all I got was this lousy headache!!! :D

So it's common knowledge that the UC's are in a friggin' big crisis because our budget is getting cut (hacked to pieces, really). So, I'm writing a novel. It's hard to find the right pacing. I have time to embellish the details, but I don't want to get off track. We can't all be JRR Tolkien.

Holy shit, that's going to be amazing. I don't care if I get sun burnt and cranky, I will see them BOTH. Huzzah, that's my resolution. I've passed up too many concert opportunities - too many.
