Oh, that's beautiful. I love the imagery you've created, and how Ianto and Gwen are there for him without needing to say anything.

Well done!

Very nicely done.

And I have to say, as an aside, I am very grateful for all these stories of Winter and snow at the moment, as we're experiencing our second day of 40C degrees out west.

Thank you!

And I know what you mean about the heat, it's much the same where I am (maybe a degree or two cooler). This wasn't actually written for the redismycolour thing, however-- it's just a coincidence. I actually started writing this back when it was our winter solstice last June, but I couldn't quite make it work then. I just decided the other day that I'd try to make it work.

(Isn't it funny though-- we were complaining that it was too cold a few weeks ago, remember? :P)

And now it's back to being too cold! At least it is here.

Yesterday's cold and wet was lovely after two days roasting at 40c, but now I want a normal day, whatever that is, cos I want to do some laundry and stop thinking about putting a jumper on *g*

That is beautiful. I love the poem anyway, but to fit the sentiment to Jack is just perfect.
