  • OMG! You guys, lionessvalenti wrote me an awesome belated birthday fic! :D We Are More than This Hotel Room -- White Collar, Peter/El/Neal, NC-17, 3,100 words. It's beautifully written and it's romantic and hot -- but it's also realistic and doesn't shy away from dealing with the way that poly relationships are perceived and the ways that Peter, El, and Neal ( Read more... )

I'm the same, I just don't feel anything for the new Torchwood at all. I just don't want to hear about it or take interest. At the moment I'm trying to write my retcon bookwrite assignment but since it's Torchwood related it's put me off writing.

I just can't write anymore.

Writers confirmed (including St. Doris.) John & Eve confirmed. Word that Marsters is Verrrrrrry Interested in getting aboard the TW Train. Life is good. (Plus Doris is tweeting that the writing has just started, so a good chance that the "casting call" was bogus.)

Congrats on sending off your story. And, if it gets rejected, you could always say you got rejected

LIKE A BOSS.

Wow, I know I'm easily amused. Sorry 'bout that. Seriously though, hope it doesn't get rejected. :)

Iiiiiiiiii love you.

I would love you even if i was sober, I promise!

We should have a club for people who don't love S4. The same way how people who love S4 have a club for squeeing over s4.

we could talk about the weather and how we don't care about s4 and about... things. Kittens. It would be amazing.

Hey see my comment! I had just been looking at the comm you are talking about I think...

Holy crap, I don't even remember leaving that comment. That's why you shouldn't drink an entire bottle of champagne by yourself and then visit the internet, boys and girls.

And, re: that comm, yeah. Almost my entire flist is on it and they keep saying, "It's great, it's fun, it's wank-free, it's for people who are for AND against S4!" but then I went over there and they were making fun of the anti-S4 crowd and I was like, "Guys. I don't think you're advertising this community realistically." I mean, I am 100% okay with them having a place where they can just be happy about S4 all the time. But please don't tell me it's something it's not and then look down on me for pointing that out to you.

Hah I replied then deleted because I figured it was too much for Lefaym's journal, as she hasn't referred to the actual comm as it were.

Just to say I agree with you and feel that there is something really childish about it all, and the post on the T_W comm really did display some awful attitudes. I hate this idea that somehow the cool kids are into S4, and those of us who aren't are the stupid ones. It's all very school playground and unproductive.

Hey well done for sending the story off, I think it's amazing and also that you have characters you can can continue with. I love what you say about how safe they are because they are yours. Very true that.

I feel a bit sad about the way there seem to now be even more devisive posts when it comes to TW4. I was looking at this comm because someone on my flist said it was great and to join. It just seemed to be post after post calling those of us who aren't excited about S4 "haters" and really just kind of taking the piss. Now I guess I'm really old because I don't even understand what the word "haters" means. I really have no idea why there needs to be so much animosity.

Anyhow I have read all this joy about the writers etc. The way it makes me feel is, OK there is this new show, a Hollywood thing, written by established Hollywood writers and OK it may well be good. That's it, it doesn't feel at all related to the show I had loved.

For some reason this comment amused me.

Congratulations on the story. Rejection or not just writing and finishing something you're proud of is great achievement.

I promise you I have no idea. I think it must be a young people's expression! This will sound old OK, but surely if you are taking the piss out of other people, and calling them "haters" then aren't you also a "hater" toward them? (See I'm old and don't understand)

Heh! Logic would dictate that you are right, but I'm not sure logic and fandom always go hand in hand
