Review of "Wanted" (Spoiler under the cut)

I went into Wanted prepared to really like it because:

(a) Angelina Jolie (makes this automatic three-star expectation)
(b) Morgan Freeman (bumps this to automatic four-star expectation)
(c) directed by Timu Bekmambetov, who also did Night Watch, Day Watch, and the upcoming Twilight Watch Just knowing he directed this alone bumps this up to a five

I did think James McAvoy was an excellent choice.

Agreed but the way I look at it is that they were sewer rats and they are gross and dirty anyways. Pet rats are a different story though.

I thought of you as soon as I saw the rat plot. I wasn't sure how you felt about rat violence. I have a friend who can't see any movie where a dog is hurt.
