I am moving ever closer to getting facebook. The amount of groups that have information exclusively on facebook are increasing and so my resilience is wearing thin. However! Before I make any kind of move I want information ( Read more... )

It annoys me when I am sewing and I do better, for example, on my second eye for the same plush. However, this makes sense - I have had practice with the first eye and so the second eye is an improvement. It still makes the plush look less uniform, but at least I am getting better ( Read more... )

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Here's to my first Canada Day as a Canadian citizen. Woo!

Part of what made the John Barrowman experience especially perfect was that a friend of mine, who was sick and couldn't make it to Pride, asked me to bring back a gay actor as a souvenir. (o^,^o)

I went to Pride in Toronto on Sunday. I had flip-flopped on whether I had really wanted to go or not. While I had not been to Pride in Toronto before, I had gone to Pride in Ottawa and so had a sense of what the day would be like. In the end I decided to go and to march with Glow in the parade.
I am so glad that I did.

For the first little while the weather was beautiful. The temperature was pleasing, there was a nice breeze, the sun was bright and the sky was blue. I complained about how it was impossible to work during such days. Lately the weather has changed. The sky is grey, it is a little bit too cold, and on some days the wind is quite fierce. Ha! I knew it!

I remember when I was a wee lass, watching tv and seeing a PSA about sniffing inhalants. Problem was, I didn't get that it was about sniffing inhalants.
