Ah hmmm...I really liked this alot.

I always seem to love the one shots with less dialouge and more emotion and description put into them instead. In my opinion it hits you harder, the less dialouge the better haha.

Yeah, one of the specifications for the exercise was no dialogue, so I stuck to that as well as I could. Which is HARD because I think dialogue is one of my stronger points and usually my work relies pretty heavily on it. But, I'm glad this came across well without it, so thanks!

*happy-squee* You posted! I've been wondering what dark cave you'd hidden yourself into! :p Once again, your work is brilliance and I only wish I could write like you!

But no, the jaded junkie is not so nihilistic as to send away the only person he perhaps truly has, anymore. He could wake the slumbering kid to express his relief, his gratitude for the sudden and unexplained reappearance, but that wouldn't do either.

I really liked that part in particular but overall, the whole thing was brilliant! Jimmy/JOS isn't a pair I see quite as often as I'd like :)

The dark cave of the uninspired, obviously, haha. Much appreciation! You always flatter me. I posted yesterday also, for the record, so maybe you wanna check that out.

I've seen some Jimmy/JoS around, mostly on comingclean, but fuck knows it takes a herd of wild horses to get me to click a link there so I haven't actually read much of it. But I thought I'd give it a whirl, anyway, since I have a very definite picture of them both in my head (Jimmy is a lot like a young Tim, for the record.) I like how it came out, maybe I'll dwell there more often.

Ooh, you posted more? I may have missed something! *runs to look* And yeah, CC has been a sad wasteland lately. *SIGH* Still, it was nice to see something written by you! :)

I did! It was Operation Ivy, which is probably why you missed it. I'm sure I'm overlooking plenty of goodfics in my ignoring of comingclean, but...can't be helped, I guess?

Ah, yet again a really interesting and wonderfully described piece from you.

The caracthers are new, although they're quite similar to, say, the Leech/BJ pairing, but it works fine. You grasp the intricate relationship very well, and you never leave out the uncomfortable details which is a huge trait. I love that. I love your grittyness and shady people, and it is always a pleasure to read.

But no, the jaded junkie is not so nihilistic as to send away the only person he perhaps truly has, anymore.

Favourite line. Brilliant in it's brutal honesty and grasping reality and life in few words. Fantastic stuff.

You have truly developed as a writer, and I feel you're really comfortable with your style of writing. Lovely stuff. But I must admit I'd really love to see you take on something unusual for you - a completely different type of carachter, for instance, and put him/her into your universe. The blood and the beauty, if you know what I mean. Just as a suggestion?

But of course, lovely stuff, as always. Much love!

Very similar, actually, that didn't escape my notice, either. Branching out is definitely where I have trouble, so a completely different character could be a huge challenge, and it isn't a bad idea. It's intriguing, at least, so maybe I'll try that out just for fun. I'm glad to see you back around, you were definitely missed, and thanks a ton! Love!

Oh, I'm back, which means I do have the internet in my flat but after spending such a long time without it it's pretty difficult to come back in full-on internet blogging mode.

Everytime I read your stuff it makes me want to write bandslash again. Footballslash is great, but I feel I have trouble relating to the carachthers in the same way I could with the emotionally and echonomically deranged people you have in bandslash. Heh.

OH! And over at my new best friend YouTube.com I found old Op.Ivy videos, and I mean OLD. Jesse had a MOHAWK and it was PURPLE. I am not kidding in any way. It was so amazing I immidiately had longings for his scrawny insane self and gah. Have you written anything of that as of lately? I would start something myself but you know how that usually goes..

much much love!

OH MY GOD I NEED THOSE VIDEOS. Actually, the post right before this is an Operation Ivy ficlet about bald!Jesse. Shave.

I know how rough it can be trying to get back into the swing of things after even a few weeks away, and you've been away much longer than that. But I am TOTALLY glad you're back. You have any messenger programs?

By the way, saw Tripp last night and totally thought of you.

Love!
