I came across a poem on yourwritingsucks.net today. Tried googling the poem, the author, but couldn't really determine anything about the author or even find another copy of the poem. Nothing about it specifically relates to my life, but I find the depth and breadth of emotion so, so rich and heartrending.

Reading the advice of authors always manages to inspire me. Here's some tips from Steinbeck that I came across:

1. Abandon the idea that you are ever going to finish. Lose track of the 400 pages and write just one page for each day, it helps. Then when it gets finished, you are always surprised.
