So, I am alive. No need to fear. School is pretty tough and I am enjoying the challenge. I currently notetake for two students, three days of the week (one of them I have both), and am officially Secretary of the Deaf Studies Club. Yep. Sometimes buying books on magic takes the place of practicing magic; I think to an extent all of us have, at one point or another, this unconscious desire to find Answers. (Plus we have a hefty tendency toward bibliophilia ;)

Your Deaf Studies work sound really interesting, I wish my area had workshops on signing.

A good book to start is American Sign Language The Easy Way; it's the most accurate and isn't secretly Signed English or wahtever and discusses Deaf Culture and History.
